Having just turned 30 years young, finding myself becoming more and more particular and hard headed, I decided it was time to share my life experiences with the world.
I have lived in Toronto for my whole life and call Montreal my second home. My obsession with food began when I was very young, watching my dad stroll the local supermarket, conversing with our local butcher and looking for limited edition runs of beer at our local LCBO. I learned that quality came from hard work and determination and that no short cuts should ever be taken, especially in the kitchen. I know first hand "literally" because my Nonna would make me in charge of the "tightening the jar" station during our annual sauce making. Of course she would know when I skipped a bottle to hurry the line because, the jar would explode in the water. Uh-oh!
I have a strong passion for Italian, Greek and French foods. I absolutely need to have the classic "steak" in my life. Nothing says I love you more, like staring at a nice 60 day dry-aged steak!
Through my world travels and life experiences, I have turned into somewhat of a sea food lover. Lobster, Crab, Oysters, Mussels and yes even sea urchin. Having been fortunate enough to spend time in the French Riviera and Monaco, I got to taste and enjoy some of the best and freshest food the sea has to offer!
I have a strong passion for food and fine champagne. I live for the simple yet refined things in life. I often tend to think quality over quantity.
